Until 1978 cannabis was fully legal to grow, cultivate, eat and smoke in Thailand.

In 1978 cannabis was from day to day listed as hard drugs after political pressure from the USA and Europa.

In 2022 cannabis was again fully legalised by the Thai parliament with very few restrictions - being 20 years old to buy it and being Thai National to grow it.
